Dear Foresters,
I am looking for PhD funding -scholarships-assistantships - opportunities or a suitable PhD project-research, in the area of Radar/Lidar Remote Sensing-EO-GIS for Forestry in the UK-Western Europe-Canada-U.S.A.
I am currently MSc student in GIS at UoE (Scotland-UK) and I hold two (honours) degrees in Forestry.
1. 1st Class (T.U.of Kavala,Greece.)
2. 2.1 class (UCLAN, UK).

I am currently M A student in Sciology at TU ( Nepal) and I hold one(honours) Bachelors degrees in Forestry and another bachelor degree in Business Administration and also Masters of arts in Sociology in Nepal

Dear Forester,
I will be starting my P.hD programme with Rivers State University of Technology, Nigeria at the department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences by September, 2005. I am looking for scholarships/funds to support/fund my P.hD programme.
i am working on identifying some indeginous forest tree species of Niger Delta origin, Nigeria that have phytoremediation potentials for crude oil spilled sites. crude oil spillage has been found to be a major forestry and environmental problem in Niger Delta, Nigeria.
i have an M.Sc in forestry and environmental management, and B. Agric. Tech. from Federal Uinversity of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria and Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria, respectively.
