The photo below shows a site which has been felled and cleared of trees. The Scarifier shown below is mounted on the back of a large tractor unit. The hydraulics power the motors which rotate the toothed wheels. These turn over the brushwood and soil and prepares the site which makes it easier to plant and care for the trees and ensures better survival of the trees.
