Details for making boxes for Birds and Bats
The lids should be hinged using a thin piece of rubber and fit a wire hook to prevent the lid opening accidentally. Fit the boxes 2-3 metres above ground so that they are not in direct sunlight or facing the wind. Make sure that there is a clear flight path and do not disturb the boxes when occupied.
