As you may have noted, I am trying to formalize my periodic posting to the various lists. To keep the postings down to one page, I hope to send out Forest Information Update (FIU) once or twice a week depending on the amount of material we have to share. The success of FIU will depend on what timely information you wish to share with others. I try to focus FIU on resouce inventory and monitoring related topics as that is my background. However, I would welcome any contributions on recent publications, meetings, and links which you think the forestry sector would find interesting. I also hope to include a small section on resource inventory related questions - but do not plan on posting discussions, etc. If you have some information to share, please send to me at the address given below.
