SPRUCE-FIR MODELS NEEDED - Thomas Cordonnier writes, "I am
a french student. I am working on forest stand dynamics for mountain forests
with a spatial model involving regeneration, growth, death processes and
perturbations du to the wind (gaps are settled). For the moment, only spruce
(Picea abies) belongs to the model. The aim, for the next three years,
is to simulate dynamics of mixed-stands, namely spruce-fir forests (french
Alps). The stability and the permanence of this association are the main
topics of interest. Can you provide me with references?" If you can assist,
please contact Thomas at agnesravel@yahoo.com.
